Sales attribution · Growth plan
See the orders behind every QR code.
Scans are a vanity metric until you know what they sold. TrackQr follows each scan to the cart and matches the Shopify order back to the code that started it.
Why UTM links alone are not enough
UTM parameters tell your analytics that a visit came from a QR code. They rarely tell you which of your twenty printed codes did the work, and they don't follow the shopper who scans today and buys on Thursday. TrackQr keeps a scan ID with the shopper for 7 days and writes it on the order itself — while still adding your UTM tags for GA4.
What you see for every code
Revenue, orders, conversion rate and average order value sit next to the scan count of every QR code. The activity feed shows each new attributed order as it happens, and the analytics page compares codes over the period you pick.
- Orders and revenue per QR code and per campaign
- Conversion rate (orders ÷ scans) and average order value
- One scan can bring several orders within 7 days — each one counts
Act on it with Shopify Flow
Every attributed order fires the “Order attributed to QR code” trigger in Shopify Flow, with the code's name and the order amount. Tag the customer, notify your team or start a follow-up — whatever your Flow actions allow.
- Trigger: Order attributed to QR code
- Trigger: Campaign lead captured
What attribution can — and can't — see
We'd rather you trust the numbers than be surprised by them. Attribution works when the purchase happens in the same browser as the scan, within 7 days, on your online store.
- Shopper buys in the same browser they scanned with
- Purchase within 7 days of the scan, even after leaving the site
- Several orders from one scan — each one is counted
- Scan on a phone, purchase later on a laptop
- In-store purchases through Shopify POS
- Orders placed more than 7 days after the scan
Turn on sales attribution in two minutes
- 1
Switch to the Growth plan from the Plans page of TrackQr.
- 2
In TrackQr's settings, open your theme editor and turn on the “TrackQr attribution” app embed. Save.
- 3
Point your codes to your store or to a campaign page. Add-to-cart codes are attributed even without the embed.
- 4
Place a test order after scanning one of your codes: it shows up on that code within a minute.
Frequently asked questions
Which plan includes sales attribution?
The Growth plan: $29/month, or $23/month billed yearly. It also removes all limits on codes, campaign pages and history.
Will the app embed slow down my store?
It is a 2 KB script. It does nothing unless the visitor arrived from a TrackQr scan, and then it only writes two cart attributes. It never blocks the page and fails silently.
Does it work with GA4 and Shopify reports?
Yes. TrackQr adds your UTM parameters to the destination, so GA4 and Shopify's marketing reports still see the visits. TrackQr's own attribution adds the per-code order and revenue view on top.
Is any personal data used to match orders?
No. The match relies on a random scan ID stored in the cart, not on names, emails or fingerprinting. Scan IP addresses are hashed and never stored in clear.
