Yes. The Free plan needs no subscription and never expires: 3 dynamic QR codes, 1 campaign page, a scan counter and PNG downloads in the standard style. Every store starts on it.
There is no trial, because the Free plan never runs out: build a code, print it, scan it and see the data at your own pace. Upgrade when you need more codes, your own design or sales attribution.
Through your Shopify invoice. TrackQr uses Shopify's billing, so there is no extra card to add: the subscription appears on your Shopify bill, monthly or yearly.
Nothing is deleted. QR codes and campaigns beyond the new plan limits are paused automatically (the oldest ones stay active) and come back by themselves as soon as they fit again — after you archive older items, or when you upgrade. Codes designed with a logo or colors are shown in the standard style on the Free plan and get their design back when you upgrade.
Never an error page. They land on your store home page — or on the fallback page you choose, from the Starter plan — and the scan shows up as a missed scan in your stats.
No. Every TrackQr code is dynamic: change the destination, add a discount code or a smart routing rule at any time — the printed code stays the same.
Yes. Upgrade or downgrade at any time from the Plans page of the app — Shopify applies the change immediately and prorates the difference.
Shopify cancels the subscription right away. Your data is kept for 48 hours in case you reinstall, then deleted, as Shopify requires. From then on, printed codes stop redirecting — so if you only want to stop paying, switch to the Free plan instead: nothing is deleted.
Displayed prices are in US dollars and exclude taxes. Shopify adds applicable taxes based on your store's billing location.
